Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure? Join Alphard Education’s Voluntary Work Placement Program and gain teaching experience, leadership skills, and cultural insights while making a real impact. We bring the world to children who can’t travel abroad—and you can be part of this mission.
This fully funded opportunity is open to students and young professionals eager to teach English through fun, interactive activities—no prior experience required! Just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Program Details
Duration: 3 to 11 weeks
Camp Dates: June 23 – August 31, 2024
Location: Two breathtaking camp destinations in Romania
Who Can Apply?
Enthusiastic volunteers aged 18+ with a passion for working with children and young adults

Your Role as a Volunteer
As a tutor, trainer, or teacher, you’ll guide children (aged 6-18)
through dynamic and interactive English lessons using:🎨 Art & journalism
⚽ Sports & outdoor games
📚 Storytelling & creative workshops
🎶 Music, dance & fun evening events
Each week, you’ll work with new groups of students, leading engaging classes and activities while exploring Romania’s scenic landscapes and vibrant culture. No prior experience is required! Every volunteer is paired with Romanian-speaking assistants for support.
Where You’ll Be Teaching
🌄 Tarcău, Neamț County – A picturesque mountain town offering breathtaking views and outdoor adventures.
🏡 Gura Humorului, Voroneț, Suceava – Located in the stunning Bucovina region, known for its famous painted monasteries, green rolling hills, and rich cultural heritage.
These unique locations provide an inspiring and immersive experience, blending teaching, travel, and cultural exchange.

A Week in the Life of a Volunteer
Monday
🌍 Meet your students & plan the week! (Morning free to relax, explore, or watch TV.)
📖 First English class (7:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
Tuesday – Friday (Engaging classes, adventure trips & cultural immersion!)
📚 Morning: English classes (10:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
🎉 Afternoon: Interactive workshops, sports & excursions
🎶 Evening: Disco, contests & themed events
Excursions include:
Water games at Aqua Park
Hiking, boat sailing & Romanian storytelling
Cable car ride & paintball on the mountain
Saturday
🎨 Creative workshops: Face painting, origami & arts activities
🔥 Evening: Disco, contests & a campfire celebration
Sunday – Farewell & New Beginnings
🏅 Graduation ceremony – Diplomas, medals & prizes for students
🍽️ Afternoon: BBQ, movies, shopping, spa, off-roading, or sailing
🌍 New arrivals in the evening – a fresh start every week!
Each evening, the camp comes alive with energy, featuring dance parties, talent shows, and competitions—all designed to create a fun, immersive English-speaking environment for the children.
